Obituary of Doreen Florence Trail

The death of Doreen Florence Trail of Saint John, wife of the late Gordon Trail, occurred peacefully on Saturday evening, November 25, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Florence (Gaudet) Barry. In earlier years, Doreen had been employed with the Saint John General Hospital. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed hanging out at Zellers and the Mall with her many friends who were very dear to her. She is survived by her loving daughter, Darlene of Vancouver, BC, one sister, Dorothy "Dolly" Fairweather, two brothers, Joseph and Arthur Barry, all of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Percy, John "Buster", Daniel and Robert, sisters, Helen, Geraldine, Mercedes and Mary "Lil" and many loving nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
