Obituary of Audrey Jean Owens - Henry

The death of Audrey Jean Owens - Henry occurred on December 8, 2006 at the Moncton City Hospital. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Mina M. (Hare) Stewart. She had been employed with Sears and Shoppers Drug Mart retiring as a floor supervisor. Audrey was predeceased by her first husband James T. Owens, second husband Leo Joseph Henry, brothers Merrill and Walton Stewart, sisters Dorothy King and Carrie Porter. Surviving are her children Barbara Waddell and her husband Larry of Quispamsis, Jim Owens and his wife Cindy of Moncton, Shirley Owens of Rothesay, five step-children, her brother Maxwell Stewart and his wife Jeannie of Miramchi City, sister Shirley MacDonald of Douglastown, grandchildren Susan, Karen, Janice, Scott, Kimberley and Ryan, nine great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Select Cummunity Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). There will be no public vistation. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 12 noon. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens following the service. Rememberances may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Assiocation, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or the Alzheimer’s Society of Saint John.
