Obituary of Kilburn George Enman

The death of Kilburn George “Kippy” Enman, of McLaughlin Road, Saint John, husband of Rita Mary (Hachey) Enman, occurred on Saturday, December 23, 2006 at his residence. Born in Kings County, NB, he was the son of the late Kilburn George and Mary Elizabeth (Wilson) Enman. Kippy was employed at the Lantic Sugar Refinery in the Boiler Room and later the Saint John Dry Dock until his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #53 and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Kilburn George Enman and Brian Keith Enman (Anne), both of Saint John, three daughters, Deborah Anne Gallant (Douglas), Alice McCarville (Kevin) and Rita Mary Crowe (Thom Cormier) all of Saint John, 12 grandchildren, Bryan Joseph Enman (Jeannette), Keith Allan Enman (Serena) Kilburn George Enman, Christopher McCarville, Benjamin Francis Wilson, Amy Lynn Gautreau, Nicholas Arthur Crowe, K. Shaun McCarville (Erin), Melissa Anne McCarville, Tammy Marie Reid (Duane), Dawn Marie Kuhout (Trevor) and Jessica Alice Crowe, 7 great grandchildren, Hailey Enman, Abby Enman, Cameron Reid, Hannah McCarville, Devon Enman, Jadan Enman and Kalan Enman, brother-in-law, Paul Hachey, sisters-in-law, Gladys Sargent and Marjorie Hachey, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Enman and his sister, Alice MacDonald. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at 12:00 Noon. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated.
