Obituary of Ralph N. Chatterton

The death of Ralph N. Chatterton, special companion of Carol Quinlan, occurred on December 25, 2006 in St. Martins, NB, at his residence. Born in Saint John he was the son of Mildred R. (Smith) Chatterton and the late Theodore M. Chatterton. He was a veteran having served with the Canadian Navy and was a member of the RCL Jervis Bay Branch # 53. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #946 and was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Truck Driver. Besides his mother he is survived by his children Neil T., Jeffrey T. (Brenda) and Cheryl Sypher (Roger), all of Baines Corner, their mother Judith Chatterton, his special step-daughter Nancy Quinlan of St. Martins, his brother Calvin (Myrna), sister Patricia Barsalou (Robert), his very special grandchildren Katlyn, Thomas, Zachery, Alyssa, Erica and Rachel, his aunt Sarah Chatterton, niece Chantale, and nephews Darren and Kyle. He will be sadly missed by his many friends. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday from Brenan’s Chapel at 10:30 am with cremation to follow. Remembrances made to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
