Obituary of Delmina Marie Louise Mazerolle

After a brief illness, the death of Della Mazerolle of City Line, Saint John West occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 29, 2007. Born on September 10, 1920 in Rivieres des Caches, NB to the late Hubert and Anastasie (Savoie) Robichaud. Della worked in the house keeping department at the General Hospital, than Bustin’s Fine Furniture Ltd. and Sampan Chinese Restaurant. She was a proud member of both the Red Hat Society and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2. Della was mother to all her many nieces and nephews and a generous caregiver to anyone in need. She is survived by a special daughter Lisa of Vancouver, BC; one sister Lina of Longueille, PQ and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Della was predeceased by her husband Alexandre “Sandy” Mazerolle; three sisters Josephine, Sylvia and Bernadette; two infant sisters Lina and Eugenie and one child brother Ernest. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row Saint John, NB with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary tribute service will be held during visiting on Thursday at 7 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday, Feburary 2, 2007 at 10:30 am. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery following the mass.
