Obituary of L. Gregory Pye

Pye, Lawrence G. – The death of Lawrence Gregory “Greg” Pye of Saint John, NB, occurred on Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late John and Belinda (King) Pye. Greg was employed with Canada Post, Sugar Refinery and more recently Crane (Canada) as a stores supervisor. He graduated from Saint Vincent’s High School and was a member of Holy Trinity Church. He is survived by nephew, Leo (Wanda) Pye Jr. and nieces, Sandra Mudge and Linda Pye, several great nieces and nephews and longtime friend, Mary Young. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Leo and John, three sisters, Dorothy, Margaret and Helen Pye. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from Holy Trinity Church at 12 Noon. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
