Obituary of Earle John Cropley

husband of Althene (McConnell) Cropley, passed away peacefully at his home on Lakeview Drive, Saint John on Friday, September 19, 2008 following a lengthy illness. He was a son of the late Charles and Sabra (Mitchell) Cropley of Hampton, Nova Scotia. Prior to his retirement in 1982, he was the Manager of Lawson Motors Uptown Service in Saint John for 37 years. Besides his wife he is survived by six sons, Robert (Gail) & Ronald (Cathy) of Saint John, Donald (Tracey) & Terry (Krista) of Quispamsis, Paul (Debbie) & Danny (Sheryl) of Strathroy, Ontario; and two daughters Deborah Cochran (John) of Bloomfield and Lorna Carrier (Ron) of Saint John. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, one brother and one sister. A private funeral was held on Monday, September 22, 2008 from Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424, followed by interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saint John, John T. McMillan Jr. Memorial Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
