Obituary of Roy Crouse

Roy “Papa” Crouse, husband of the late Mary Anne (Casey) Crouse, passed away peacefully at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Thursday, December 11, 2008. He was born on April 8, 1929 in Wilmot, NB to the late Roy and Ida (Rockwell) Crouse. Roy worked at Brunswick Ready Mix Concrete as a truck driver until his retirement. He is survived by his daughter, Beverley Pitre (Dennis) of Saint John, NB; three brothers: Perley, Carl (Geraldine) and Gary (Bonnie) Crouse; seven sisters: Dallas Legacy (Clarence), Jean Green (Robert), Shirley Grant (Morris), Diane King (Michael), Joyce Ricketts (Roley), Alice Welch and Lettie Crouse and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Roy was predeceased by three brothers: William, Ray and Robert and one sister, Linda. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 11:30 am. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances maybe made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
