Obituary of Dennis MacLeod

MacLeod, Dennis Robert … passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in West Saint John on June 4, 1941, he was a son of the late George and Helen (Osborne) MacLeod. Survived by his sister, Gussie Roxanne Daigle (Francis); his brother, Britt MacLeod (Cindy), his half-brother, David Osborne (Mary-Beth); nephews, Britt Nickerson (Cathy), Christopher Smith, Andrew, Jeffery and Trevor MacLeod; niece, Andrea Nickerson; great-nephews, Timothy A. Daly and Robert Nickerson; great-nieces, Kelsey Nickerson, Gwenyth Smith, Katelyn Kyffin; great-great-nephew, Connor MacLeod; special cousins, Ruth Chandler and Barbara Gillet (Roy) and numerous other cousins. Predeceased by his uncle, A. Charles Osborne; aunt, D. Marjorie Osborne; and grandfather, Robert E. Osborne. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, .111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:00 pm from St. Jude’s Anglican Church, 319 Lancaster St., Saint John West. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
