Obituary of V. Eileen Sullivan

V. Eileen Sullivan of Saint John, wife of the late Kenneth Edward Sullivan, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Sussex, New Brunswick on April 22, 1925, she was a daughter of the late George and Georgina (McFarland) Laird. Eileen is survived by her children, Carol LeBlanc (Norman) of Rothesay, Kenneth Sullivan (Leanne) of Calgary, Alberta, David Sullivan, and Ronald Sullivan, both of Edmonton, Alberta; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by a daughter, Marion Stafford; and by several brothers and sisters. Although there will be no visiting, relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside funeral service, which will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
