Obituary of June Perkins

The death of June (Arthurs) Perkins formerly of Ellerdale St, Saint John, NB, the wife of the late Garnet W. Perkins, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 16th , 2004. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Emma (Bean) Arthurs. June worked as a secretary for CHSJ Radio for many years until her retirement in 1973. June is survived by her sons: Paul Perkins and David Perkins of Saint John, NB. Her daughters: Carolyn (Peter) Landry and Andrea Kinsella (Gerry) of Saint John, NB. Her brother, Eugene Arthurs of Saint John, NB and her sisters: Dorine ( Leo) McVane of Saint John, NB, Alma (Linden) Richardson of Fredericton, Maxine (Romeo) Gauthier of NS, and Ruth Langlais of Saint John, NB. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Krista (Kevin) Baxter, Wendy Landry, Daniel Landry, Angela Kinsella, Kory (Patti) Kinsella, Claudia Sommerville and Philip Hebert and also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Malcolm Arthurs. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424), with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 20th, 2004 at 11:00AM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
