Obituary of Alphonse Northrup

Alfonse Northrup of Saint John passed away on May 15, 2011, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on September 28, 1935, he was a son of the late Amos and Alice (Milberry) Northrup. He is survived by his sisters Mary McLeod, Edna Hanson and Loretta Tays, all of Saint John, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Alfonse was pre-deceased by his sisters Viola, Helen and Beatrice. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at 2:00pm from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
