Obituary of G. Troy Bridges

The death of G. Troy Bridges of Red Head occurred by accident on May 22, 2011. Born in Saint John he was a son of Russell G. Bridges and the late Frances (Dryden) Bridges. Troy is a life long resident of Saint John, growing up in the city’s North End. He had been employed for many years as a roofer with Tim’s roofing. Besides his father he is survived by his stepmother Holly Carr, one brother, Russell Bridges (Rebecca McGaghey) of Saint John North, one nephew, Nicholas Bustard of Miramichi, two step sisters, Brittney and Jenna Flight of Saint John, three sons Zachary Bridges and step son Ashden (mother Tina), Jared Beshara (mother Tracy), Jayden Hachey (mother Rachel), and a daughter Dara Driscoll (mother Natalie) all of Saint John, his girlfriend Theresa Ryan and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Troy was predeceased by a daughter, Courtney. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 27, 2011 from St. Peter’s Church, Clarendon Street at 10 am. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
