Obituary of J. Alex Doiron

Joseph Alexander Doiron, husband of the late Betty Lou Fawcett-Doiron, passed away on October 12th, 2011. Born at Saint John on June 14, 1946, he was a son of the late Alexander and Hilda (Good) Doiron. Alex worked as a transport truck driver for many years. He is survived by stepchildren David Fawcett (Bev), Christopher Forrest (Trina), Heather Fawcett (Stephen Hawkins), sisters Dot Cummings, Gail (Doug Doucet), Patricia (Ross Whalen), Narda (David O’Donnell), Caren (Ralph Wilson), brother, Brian, as well as several nieces and nephews, and a special grand-niece and nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon Street, on Saturday at 11:00am, with visiting one hour prior to service time, at the church. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
