Obituary of Alexander Flaglor

A. Samuel Flaglor of Saint John passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Bobby’s Hospice. Sam was born in Sussex Corner on July 12, 1940, and was a long time resident of Saint John, who drove taxi in the city for several years. He always had a positive attitude, putting others before himself, and was always ready with a quick joke, even during his illness. Sam is survived by his partner, Brenda Cook; a daughter Natasha (Troy); a son, Robert; Brenda’s family Cory, Chassity, and Rickey; his best friend, Art Gibbs; and several grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews. In keeping with Sam’s wishes, no formal services will be held. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.BrenansFH.com.
