Obituary of Teresa Anne Marie Ingraham

Teresa Anne Marie Ingraham of Saint John, wife of Wayne Ingraham, passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at her residence. Born at Sarnia, Ontario on November 19, 1953, she was a daughter of Patricia (Anderson, Cummings) Roy and the late Charles Cummings and step-daughter of Guy Roy. She graduated from LaSalle Secondary School in Kingston, ON and from NBCC where she received her Teacher’s Aid diploma. Teresa was employed at Saint John Shipbuilding, Fabricville (Haymarket), as a baby photographer at SJRH and also as a Teacher’s Aid for School District 8. She was a very active member of the I.O.D.E. (Katie Hazen McKay Chapter), and was a Meet-and-Greet volunteer with the Port of Saint John. She loved bowling, photography, the outdoors, gardening and going on cruises with her husband and many friends all over Canada and the United States. She also served her community by canvassing for the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Kidney Foundation, as well as being the former Guider-in-charge of the 1st Millidgeville Girl Guide Company. She was a member of St. Pius X Church and the Martha’s Guild. In addition to her husband and her parents, Teresa is survived by her children, Michelle Sandler (Damon) of Calgary, Jason (Emma) of Calgary, AB and Shawn (Carla) of Edmonton, AB ; grandchildren: Brandon, Roland, Archer, Lucean, and Alexander; sister: Barbara of Kingston, ON; brothers: James (Patsy) of Hamilton, ON, Patrick (Janet) of Kingston, ON, Bruce (Angela) of Wallington, NJ, and Charles Jr. of St. Albert, AB; step-brothers, Glen (Debbie) and Steven (Lisa) both of Kingston, ON; step-sisters: Lynn Candy and Patty Cummings both of Kingston, ON; special friends, Sheila Hicks, Carmel Murray and Cathy Isfeld and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 am from St. Pius X Church, 316 Somerset Street. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances to Craig’s Cause Pancreatic Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
