Obituary of Charles Coleman

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Charles Coleman of Saint John, which occurred on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on March 29, 1949 he was a son of Eileen (Colpitts) and the late Roy Coleman. Charles volunteered with the blind and also sat on the board of the NB Base Living to the Disabled. He was a very active participant in the Special Olympics. Charles was an avid bowler. He retired from Key Industries as a Silk Screener. Charles is survived by his sister, Debra Pattman (Paul) of Saint John; two nieces, three nephews and nine great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Charles and two brothers, Gary and Dale and infant sister, Nancy. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Calvary Temple Children’s Group and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
