Obituary of Hazel A. Stevens

It is with very heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Hazel A. Stevens of Glen Falls which occurred on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.Hazel was born in Fairville, NB and was a daughter of the late Harry and Eleanor (Austin) Shanks. She was predeceased by her son, Brenton Stevens of whom was her pride and joy; three brothers, Calvin, Lloyd and Duanne.She is survived by sisters, Julia Connell, Beverleigh Morgan, Janett Shanks and Sharron Shanks; brother, Murray Shanks and the Watson family; several nieces and nephews.In keeping with Hazel’s request there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in Musquash Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances may be place to the Cody’s Women’s Institute Hall. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
