Obituary of Kenneth Archibald Murray Lane

The death of Kenneth Lane of Saint John, beloved husband of June Lane (Price) occurred on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Ken was born in Scotland on May 15, 1943. Prior to his retirement, Ken was employed as a taxi driver for nearly twenty years. He enjoyed reading, playing Crib, 45’s and a good game of Bingo. He will be sadly missed. Besides his loving wife, June, Ken is also survived by his sister, Donna Hanson of Fredericton; step-daughters, Kelly Dean of Toronto, Tanya Severin (Mark) of Saint John and Patricia Dean of Montreal; step-granddaughters, Magen and Alicia Severin; cousin, Brian Lane of Moncton; good friend, Billy Watson of Quispamsis; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Harold and Clara Young. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October, 3, 2013 from St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church, Saint John, at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
