Obituary of C.T. Graham Lowney

The death of Graham Lowney of Saint John occurred on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Saint John on February 24, 1953 to the late Joseph and Irene (Bourgeois) Lowney. Graham was an operator of a special care home in Saint John until his retirement. He was a member of the Saint John Vineyard. Graham had a passion for sports, softball, football and golf. He also was past president of the Stephenson Tower Tenants Association. Graham is survived by his brother, Frank of North Bay, ON; sisters: Joann Howlett (James) of Saint John, Diane Diehl (Stanley) of Harrisonburg, VA, Barbara Scoville (Ronald) of Saint John and Donna Borden (William) of Enfield, NS and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Graham was predeceased by his brother, Joseph and grand-nephew, Rex. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 11:00 am from the Saint John Vineyard. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to Romero House and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
