Obituary of Anne Weston-Ferris

Surrounded by her daughters, the death of Anne Weston-Ferris occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born on April 18, 1930 in Hampton to the late Harry and Annie (Barr) Beyea. Anne was the office manager for Keith R. Beyea Electrical for over 20 years. She was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church. Anne was a life member of the Saint John Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and Past Queen of the Nereides Temple # 78 of the Daughters of the Nile. In her spare time she loved to knit, play cards, bowl, trailer at Cambridge Narrows and spend quality time with family and friends. Anne is survived by her daughters: Cheryl Maillet (Paul) of Willow Grove, Brenda Hunter (Lloyd) of Willow Grove and Pam Taylor (Paul Kierstead) of Saint John; grandchildren: Tony (Wahkuna), Jamie (Andrea), Tim (Nerida), Tina (Trevor), Randy (Sara) and Matt; great-grandchildren: Søren, Lucy, Alexander, Brooklyn, Jake, Hayley, William and Samuel, step-sons: David (Alice) and John Ferris and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husbands: Wesley Weston and Ronald Ferris; son, Randall Weston; sons-in-law: John Thurlow and Kevin Taylor; step-daughter-in-law, Marjorie Ferris; brothers: Clyde, Eldon and Keith Beyea and sisters: Dorothy Addison (Dot), Winona Templeton (Nonie), Bethelda Drew (Thel), Ruth Bonneville and Ewilda Fisher (Wilda). She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday from 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Forest Hills Baptist Church, 36 Mountain Road on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Browns Cemetery, Bains Corner in the spring. In lieu of flowers remembrances to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
