Obituary of Earl W. Campbell

The death of Earl William Campbell, formerly of Cambridge Narrows, husband of Hilda F. (Smith) Campbell, occurred on Monday, October 11, 2004 at Ridgewood Veteran's Wing. Born in Timmons, ON, he was the son of the late William and Mabel (Frederick) Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Air Force, and retired as a Meteorologist from the Air Force. He was and avid sportsman playing baseball in his younger years and curling in his later years. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Dale LaBrash (Roger) of Napean, ON and Sherry Hanson (Richard) of Renforth, one sister, Laura Smith of North Bay, ON, five grandchildren, James (Heather), Dana, Jared, Keith and Kristen, one great grand daughter, Quinn, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Gary E. Campbell and one sister, Anna Mae Lester. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 15, 2004 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Field of Honour. Remembrances to the Alzheimer's Society of Saint John or the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
