Obituary of Louise Eleanor Bromfield

Louise Eleanor Bromfield passed away on September 24, 2014 at Rocmaura Nursing Home, Saint John. Born on March 27, 1920 she was a daughter of the late David and Pearl (Trathen) Pringle. Louise worked as a school secretary at New Albert School. She was an avid gardener, played bridge, curled and was a member of the Carleton Curling Club. She loved to travel and took many trips to Bermuda also spending the summers on Prince Edward Island. While she was able she was very involved with her church, St George’s Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Wack (John), Nerepis. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William Bromfield. Visitation will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Friday, September 26 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 10:00 at Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery, following the funeral service. Remembrances may be made to the Rocmaura Nursing Home.
