Obituary of Thomas A. R. Lees

The death of Thomas Lees of Saint John occurred on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on August 4, 1941 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Thomas D. and Audrey (Crawford) Lees. Tom is survived by his children, Kathy Williston (Stymiest) of Bay du Vin, NB and Stephen Lees (Tara) of Kelowna, BC; sister, Dolores Goguen (Norman) of Baxters Corner; grandchildren, Hailey, Chelsea and Brooklynn Lees and Eric and Katie Williston; special cousins, Michael and Sandy Crawford; niece, Shelley Funk and nephew, Shane Goguen; special feline companion, Sam; as well as friends at the Loch Lomond Villa. Tom’s family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Graham McNeil and the entire staff of the SJRH for the excellent care that was always provided to him. In keeping with Tom’s wishes, no visitation or funeral service will take place. A family interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery, in the spring. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to C.A.R.M.A. (Cat Rescue Maritimes).
