It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Joseph O’Brien, loving friend of Rose, announce his passing at his home on August 19th, 2022. Mike was a “New Years Baby,” born January 1st, 1957 in Miramichi Hospital, N.B..
He is survived by his beloved son Michael Jr., grandson Decklan, whom he loved so much, his loving mother Yvonne, his brothers David and Gary, all of Saint John N.B., as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Mike was a very kind and giving soul and had many friends at his residence of Stephenson Tower Drive. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home (634-7424). For those who wish, donations in Mike’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
