Obituary of Helen Jean Doucette

Mrs. Helen Jean Doucette passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on February 9, 1948 she was the daughter of Jean (Collison) Adams and the late Murray Adams. Helen was a cleaner and cleaned for many different companies including Moosehead Breweries, New System Laundry, TD Bank and the Bank of Montreal. She also enjoyed her time babysitting little Joey and his sisters. Most of all, Helen loved spending time with her family. Helen is survived by her mother Jean (Collison) Adams of Saint John; one son Paul Doucette of Saint John; three brothers William Adams, David (Vera) Adams both of Saint John and Robert Adams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph Gerald Doucette. As per Helen’s wishes cremation will take place, a private family visitation will be held. A Memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from Castle “Fallsview” Chapel at 10:00am. Remembrances made to the SJRH Palliative Care, Canadian Cancer Society, Children’s Wish Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
