Obituary of Barbara Hannah

Barbara A. Hannah wife of James “Jim” Hannah, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 11th, 2014, following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John on April 19th, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Hayward W. Abby and Alberta Best. She was a well-known care giver, cake decorator; animal lover and she took great pride in her gardens. Barb is survived by her devoted husband Jim, son John “Joe”, her sister Rose Peters Abby, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. on Wednesday, May 14 from 2-4 and 7-9pm and Thursday, May 15 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In keeping with Barb’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Private interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Donations to the Dialysis Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital or the Animal Rescue League would be greatly appreciated.
