Obituary of Emile LeBlanc
The death of Emile LeBlanc, husband of the late Germaine (Roussell) LeBlanc, occurred on October 18, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in St. Anselme, NB on July 21, 1935, he was the son of the late Joseph Améde LeBlanc and MaryAnn Wallace. He is survived by his three sons Leonard LeBlanc, Norman LeBlanc, and David LeBlanc all of Saint John; two daughters Annette (Tom) Silver of Halifax, and Shirley LeBlanc of Calgary; grandchildren Lydia LeBlanc, Gerry Cameron, Robert Silver, and Aron Silver; and his brother Maurice (Rita) LeBlanc. Emile will also be missed by his in-laws Bernadette, Cecile, and Adrice as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Emile was also predeceased by his daughter Rose-Marie LeBlanc; his brothers Willie LeBlanc, Clarence LeBlanc, Amède LeBlanc, Raymond LeBlanc, George LeBlanc; his sisters Margaret Gallant, Sarah Jeannie LeBlanc, Dorothy LeBlanc, Bernice Phillips, Mary Emma Wallace, and Theresa Wallace. Emile was raised in Saint John and worked at Maritime Paper for 46 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, listening to fiddle music, playing crib with friends and family, and collecting antique bottles. Dad loved spending time with family, his love and tireless sense of humor will be forever missed. Resting at Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John West (634-1701) with visiting on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 2-4, and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday October 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima. The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, and reception at Denis Morris Memorial Community Centre, 330 Green Head Rd. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care shown to Dad during his lengthy stay.
