To the Cunningham Family: I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dave. Being from the Westside of Saint John, Dave served many of my family members on numerous occassions in the past with utmost dignity and respect. During my younger years in Greendale I knew Dave from the rink, ball field, school and being a friend of my brothers. Whenever we crossed paths Dave didn't just say hi and keep walking. We are so sorry for your loss. Dave was a kind and gentle person. Our family has lived in Ontario for the past 30 years. My Aunt Shirley Doone lives across the Street from Castle Fallsview. Dave handled my father's arrangements years ago and we could not have gotten through that time without him. he died in Ontario but was burried in saint John. Castle Fallsview was my Grandfather Arthur Ready's childhood home when we would visit Dave always took the time to tour us through the home with great pride. We have recently moved back to Saint John and since we are just across the Street could see Dave daily working in the yard. Every West Sider on Kancaster Ave would stop to say hello. We are so deeply sadened by his pssing. The world has lost a great one and our thoughts and prayers are with your family. The Ready and Doone Family
