Obituary of Kathleen E. Poirier
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen Poirier announces her passing on October 29, 2015. Kathy is survived by her loving husband and best friend Allan and her children Troy (Maureen Logue ), Andy (Denielle) and Vicky (Ian Fogan). She will be missed by her grandchildren Lucas, Cody, Zachary, Nora, Mitchell, Lily, Seth and Capri. Kathy is also survived by her brother Kerry (Patty) Cobham and sisters Marlene (Willard) Clohossey and Victoria Cobham; her mother-in-law Elizabeth Poirier and bothers-in-law Raymond and John (Wendy) Poirier; and several nieces and nephews. Kathy is predeceased by her parents Myra and Victor Cobham; her father-in-law Elier (Al) Poirier; her brother Victor Cobham and her nephews Christopher Poirier and Corey Vautour. Kathy was born in Saint John on July 29, 1955 and lived most of her life in the West side community. She shared a wonderful life with her husband Allan, their children and grandchildren. They traveled, went camping and enjoyed their time together. Kathy shared a close relationship with her close-knit extended family. Kathy has always been a creative person with new ideas for projects for not only herself, but also for Allan and other family members. There was always something to be done. We Love You Kathy…..Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Sunday November 1, 2015 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from Castle Funeral Home Chapel on Monday November 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. Donations in Kathleen’s memory can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
