Obituary of John Murray

Murray, John Douglas “Doug” Passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 02, 2011. Born on April 25, 1933, he was the son of the late Chester and Helen (Jarvis) Murray. Loving husband of Heather (Bell) Murray. He was retired from NB Tel. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, John (Anne), of Ottawa, Ontario; daughters, Ann (Chris) Magee and Alison (Bill) Rabishaw, both of Saint John, NB; sister, Ann (Mike) Flewelling, of Saint John, NB; grandchildren, Matthew, Jeremy, Kathryn, Alex and Carys and nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, “Fallsview Chapel”, 309 Lancaster Avenue, Saint John West, (634-1701) there will be no visitation by Doug’s request. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 04, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations, in memory of Doug, may be made to Romero House-Soup Kitchen.
