Obituary of Ronald Ruseff

RONALD HAROLD RUSEFF - passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional on Saturday, May 10th, 2014. Ron was born October 25th,1930 to George and Georgina Ruseff. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Kay (Catherine Green) Ruseff in March 2012. Survived by three daughters Mary Jo (Danny) Banks, Cathy (Mike) Long of Saint John, Lana (Gary) Brown of Moncton and loving grandchildren Ryan (Heidi) Long, Andrew Long (Emily McGill) and Katie Long, Jennifer (Anthony) Scovil, Jillian Banks (Kristopher Tingley), Jaclyn Banks (Jonathan Bannister) , Jeffrey Banks (Taylor Doucette), Grace and Elizabeth Brown and great-grandchildren Claire Scovil and baby Alex Long. Ron is also survived by two sisters Greta Ross and Kay Merwin, one brother Fred Ruseff all of Ontario, as well as many brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, and parents, Ron was predeceased by his brothers Donald, George, Guy, Gerald, and Johnny, and sister Gloria Williams. Ron was a long time employee of Moosehead Breweries retiring to enjoy many happy summers at the Cambridge Narrows with his wife and family. Visitation at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. on Tuesday, May 13, from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday May 14, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Saint Rose of Lima Church on Thursday, May 15 at 12:00 noon, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ron can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
