Obituary of Jeannette Gallant-Stevens

It is with broken hearts that we announce the death of our beautiful mother, Jeannette Gallant-Stevens, which occurred on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, in the tender care of Bobby’s Hospice.  Born in Saint John, NB on March 26, 1955, she is a daughter of the late Hurbert & Aline Gallant (Richard).

Mom was fun and full of life, she worked hard her whole life to provide for her family.  Jeanette was always the life of the party, and she loved her family time and her animals. Mr. Walllace and Gigi had a special place in her heart.  She will forever be in our hearts and minds.  She is now our angel.

Jeannette is survived by daughters, Jackie Stevens and Angie Reid (Perry); grandchildren: Kayla (Ahmad), Shawna, Keishya, Ashton, Ceira, Preston, Bella and Carter; great-grandchildren: Alaya & Sephia; siblings: Leopaul Gallant, Margie McLaughlan (Randy) and Clancy Gallant (Gail); her forever love and friend, Weldon; along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424.  In keeping with Jeannette’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Bobby’s Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
