Obituary of Ernest Myers

It is with an appreciation for a life well-lived that the family of Ernest Myers, beloved husband of the late Sylvia (Landry) Myers, announce his passing which occurred on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Fundy Nursing Home.  Born in St. Antoine, NB, he was a son of the late Thomas and Ida (Williams) Myers.

Ernest was a talented wood carver and was a lover of country music.

Ernest will be lovingly remembered by his children, Delcia Woodworth, Alfred Myers (Rachel) and Kenny Myers; sister, Dorothee Myers; grandchildren, Jason McEachern (Andrea) and Erika McEachern; as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by eight brothers, Tony, Leo, Len, Gerry, Vincent, Laurie, Clarence and Ronald and six sisters, Emma, Anita, Dora, Mabel, Florence and Lorette.

Although there will be no visitation, relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy which will be held from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM.  For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed and can be viewed by visiting Ernests’ obituary on the Brenan’s website.  Interment will take place at a later date.

For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
