Obituary of Robert Goudie Ross

It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Robert Goudie Ross, of Quispamsis, announce his passing on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born on December 13, 1943, in Lennoxville, Quebec, he was the son of the late Foster and Margaret (Cameron) Ross. Bob started his career as a Draftsman for the City of Saint John. He then became a real estate agent in the Saint John and surrounding area for many years until his retirement. Bob was a member of the Kinsmen, the Valley Cruisers, and was a councilman for the Gondola Point area. He was an avid Nascar enthusiast and enjoyed finding treasures at flea markets.  Bob will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his sons; Stephen (Victoria) of Calgary, Glen (Angela), Andrew (Stephanie), and Chris (Jana), all of Quispamsis, grandchildren; Olivia, Adam, Allison, Rachel, Ethan, Will, Jack, Ben, Lily, Finn, and Ellie.

The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses of Kings Way Care Centre, for their care and compassion towards Bob and his family.

Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (506-849-2119), wit visiting on Tuesday, March 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A private family funeral service will take place at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at Malvern Cemetery, Lennoxville, Quebec at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
