To Mrs Hayes and family, I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Hayes's passing he was my dentist when I was a lot younger I' was very grateful to have him for a dentist he always knew how much I didn't like needles. R.I.P. DR. Hayes.

I had the privilege of getting to know Walter while he and Joan were both residing at Chateau de Champlain.
He was a great guy to talk to and he always had a smile. RIP Walter.

Dear Joan and family I was very sorry to read of Walters passing on Thursday.I realize Walter had failing health but we are never prepared when it happens.Death is so final. So sorry to hear of Dr. Hayes passing. My mother worked for him in his office for many years. She had the highest respect for him as an employer but more importantly as a person.
Walter was a great guy who always had a smile or a chuckle. After 2 attempts, and swallowing most of the St. John River, I'm sure, I was finally up and skiing behind his boat. My sympathy to Joan, Ron, Terry, and family.
Ohhhh Joan I'm so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed sitting near you and Walter at church. May he RIP and your family be wrapped in wings of comfort.
My condolences to all of Dr Hayes family. Years ago I was fortunate to be one of Dr Hayes patients. Dr Hayes and Joan are one of the nicest couples a person could meet. All of you will have wonderful memories of him in the time ahead. My thoughts and prayers are with you in days ahead.

This man, Dr. W.A.Hayes......(I thought I always remembered it being W. A.S. Hayes), was the BEST dentist ever! I remember distinctly sitting in the chair and looking at this beautiful picture of a little girl. I was just 14 when I started going to him. One time I was in a store and saw a print of that very same little girl. Needless to say it came home with me. I did not realize that he was living at Turnbull Home, as I could have been to visit him. My grandaughter was one of his caregivers. To Joan and family, I send my deepest condolences to you all at this very sad time. I will forever remember him. (Derinda Starr Toner). My brother Noel was a patient as well.
