Obituary of James Andrew MacDonald

It is with profound sadness that the family of James MacDonald announces his passing which occurred at Saint John Regional Hospital on August 27, 2023.

James leaves behind the love of his life Shirley MacDonald; his two daughters Angela Reed (Rich), and Cindy Chevarie; his grandchildren Christopher, Amber, Corey, DJ, Brandan, and Devan; his great-grandsons Henry, and Dominic; and his many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents James and Eileen MacDonald; and his brothers Raymond, Edwin, and Lesley.

Everybody who knew and loved James knows that he was an incredibly devoted and involved husband, father, and grandfather. His constant joking around, light-heartedness, and strong work ethic will be deeply missed by many. 

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will take place on September 1, 2023, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery to follow.
