Obituary of Mary Lou Muise
The family of Mary Lou (Bright) Muise are very saddened to announce Mama’s sudden passing on November 7, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a very brief illness.
Mary Lou was born August 18, 1949, to the late Sonny and Marion (Crawford) Bright of Chance Harbour, NB. In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was predeceased by her loving husband of 44 years, Norman Muise and her youngest son, Murray Edward Muise.
Mama is survived by her loving daughters, Angela Morris (Danny) of Grand Bay, Norma Hicks (Russell) of Saint John; son, Billy Muise of Chance Harbour; along with her special daughters, Darlene Sheppard (David) and Linda Belmore (Donald); her dearly loved grandchildren, John, Devon, Katie, Cody, Brady, Autumn, Madison, Sydney and Shelby; her 8 precious great-grandchildren and of course all of the beautiful children that have been a special part of Mama’s life.
Mary Lou is also survived by her best friends/sisters, Faye Theriault (Wayne), Judy Baird (Steve Coates), Ann Seelye (Brian); brothers, Barney (Kelly) and Larry Bug.
The family wishes to thank the paramedics, Andrew and Kylee, nurses, Nathan and Jenn and Dr. Luke Taylor for taking such great care of Mama.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). A visitation and service will be held from Castle Fallsview Funeral Home on Saturday, November 11, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM with the service beginning at 2:00 PM. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
