Sending you my condolences on the passing of your father and grandfather. My dad, Gordon Lawson, worked for many years with Herb and often spoke of him. He was a big part of the Lawson Motors family. I know the wonderful memories you have will help you through the sad times.
My sincere condolences to the family. Herb and I had many chats when we worked together at Irving Paper and he always had a story for me. One time he told me that he had been driving for many years without a drivers license! and that his plan was to flash the picture of Dave in uniform that he had in his wallet if he was ever stopped. Great memories.
Dave, Mike, Beth, Greg, Paul I am so sorry to hear about your Dads passing. He was a great character with always a joke or crazy story to share. I will remember him fondly. RIP Herb.
Dave thanks so much. He truly enjoyed working with you and you were a true friend until the end. The years I was working there were memorable indeed. Including the always two week scheduled Christmas break at the shipyard where he and I worked together on nightshifts….great time to just talk and what we laughed about near the end.
