Audrey is survived by her daughters, Heather Norman, Janice Ferris, Jennifer (Jeff) Bower and Andrea (Dale) Murphy. Her grandchildren, TJ Norman (Ally), Erin Norman (Bill), Morgan Sproul (Kat), Keith Sproul (Caitlin), Lauren Morgan (Caleb), William Bower, Ella Murphy and Audrey Murphy, as well as her many great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Pelham, Chase, Anders, Cameron and Eliza. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Morgan Ferris; parents, Leonard and Mae Keith; brother, James Keith; sister-in-law, Joy Keith and brother-in-law, Lorne Ferris.
After Audrey graduated from Saint John Vocational School in 1944, she was employed with General Insurance where she worked as an underwriter until she and Morgan started their family.
Audrey believed in service to others and led a life of service as a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, ACW, and later joined St. Luke’s ACW where she enjoyed her time of fellowship.
She was a life member of the Girl Guides of Canada with well over 55 years of service in the Lancaster District, at the Church of the Good Shepherd with the Brownies and Guides, and later with the First Fundy Trefoil Guild. After Morgan’s passing, she enjoyed volunteering with the Friends of Hospice and made many lasting friendships.
Many fond memories centered around her time on Kennebecasis Island, from living there with all her family for many years and continued happy memories with Morgan throughout their married life. Audrey was the last member of the six generations of Keiths to live and work on the farm on Kennebecasis Island. She spoke often of those memories, which we will cherish.
