1953 – 2024
The family of Mary Lou Maguire is deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing, which occurred on January 9, 2024, at the Loch Lomond Village in her 71st year. Born to Alexander and Doris (Goddard) Chisholm in Saint John, New Brunswick, this is where she would meet her soul mate and build her beautiful life as a dedicated wife and mother.
Mary Lou will be profoundly missed by her son Murray Maguire (Natalie); daughter Melanie Maguire (Graeme); cherished grandchildren Emerson, Mackenna, Finley, and baby-boy to be; sisters Marlene Brideau, and Sandra Levine, along with many other family members and dear friends. She will be reunited with the love of her life, husband Brian Maguire; parents Alexander and Doris Chisholm; brothers Frank Chisholm, Wayne Chisholm, Don Chisholm, Doug Chisholm, Allan Chisholm, and William Chisholm; sisters Judi Boyle, and Shirley Grass; and her special fur baby Salem the cat.
A special thanks to the staff of Dogwood House at the Loch Lomond Village for the incredible care and support over the last few years.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). Visitation will take place Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at Brenan’s Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 11:00 in Brenan’s Chapel. Interment at Lorneville Cemetery will occur in the near future.
