Obituary of Peter Robert Cox

The family of Peter Cox of Saint John, New Brunswick, is saddened to announce his passing. Peter left this world on January 22^nd, 2024, at the age of 79 after battling Parkinson’s Disease for many years. He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

He was adopted by William and Marie Cox on October 17, 1945. Peter, a steel fabricator married Marilyn Cox on October 16, 1970. Together, they had 3 children. Peter loved spending time in nature. He enjoyed going for walks with his family, and swimming in the local river. Peter worked diligently to provide for his family an active family man.

Peter will lovingly remember by his wife, Marilyn Cox; children, Bernadette, Peter, and Lydia-Ann; grandchildren, Zachary, Caitlyn, Olivia, and Weston; as well as numerous other relatives, and friends.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. Peter will be interred in Ocean View Memorial Gardens on a date to be announced during the week of January 29  – February 4, 2024.
