Howie was one of the best fishermen the Saint John Harbour produced in my lifetime. He had a great sense of humour. Howie was
a member of the Fishermen’s Crew, who won the Whaler Marco Polo Rowing Race in the 1990’s. Condolences to Howard’s family.

I have had the privilege of knowing ,working with Howie on the waterfront and being taught all the best spots to catch fish in Saint John Harbour .as a commercial fisherman by him .I would also like to add there was nobody better at catching pink shad or stronger with a set of oars .Condolences to the family and memories to help at this time and into the future.
