Obituary of Robert Eugene Boudreau
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces that Robert (Bob) Eugene Boudreau passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024, at the Shannex Saint John Tucker Hall. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Judy (Ogilvie), and his cherished sons, Mike (Pam) Boudreau and Robin (Paula) Boudreau. Bob's legacy lives on through his adored grandchildren, Ryan (Jie) Boudreau, Andersen Boudreau, Paige Boudreau, and great-grandsons Lucas Boudreau-Bartlett and Mason Boudreau. He was preceded by his parents, Eugene and Cecilia (Fleming) Boudreau, and sister, Catherine Boudreau.
In addition to his immediate family, Bob's life was enriched by his enduring friendships, notably with Jack Chisholm, Gerry Gilliand, and Ron Grant.
Those acquainted with Bob will fondly remember his quick wit, dry sense of humor, and profound devotion to his family, particularly his grandchildren. He was a man of diverse talents, finding joy behind the camera, crafting intricate HO scale models, and contributing as a lifelong member of the Saint John Society of Model Railroaders. He worked 35 years with the Canadian Coast Guard in Saint John, retiring in 2000.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff at Shannex Tucker Hall for the exceptional love and care they showed Bob while he was there.
