Obituary of Shirley Ann Malloy
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Shirley Ann Malloy announces her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Pallative Care Unit, on Saturday, March 2, 2024. She was the oldest daughter of the late Vincent and Marion (nee Kingston) Malloy.
Through her working years Shirley shared a kinship and fellowship with her co-workers at Red Rose Tea factory, K-Mart, and Zellers. Her keen sense of humor was shared by those who knew her.
Shirley cared deeply for her many fur babies over the years: her dogs Mr. Bubbles, Whiske, Griffin; and her cats; Tiffy, and Callie better known as her “fat cat”.
Shirley is survived by her sisters Debbie (Stephen) Stokes and Twyla (Paul) Groody, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Shirley was predeceased by her nephew Joshua, and niece Cyndy-Lynn.
We all will miss Shirley’s presence and her ability to show us heartfelt and unconditional love.
Shirley’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the many staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital, as well as the Kindred Homecare Agency and their staff for their kindness, professionalism, and excellent care provided.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle “Fallsview” Funeral Home (506) 634-1701 309 Lancaster Ave., Saint John NB. In keeping with Shirley’s wishes a private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Bobby’s Hospice, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Saint John SPCA or the charity of your choice.
