Obituary of Susan Marie Porter-Eadle

It is with great sadness that the family of Susan Marie Porter-Eadle announces her passing on Friday, April 19, 2024, at her residence. Born in Saint John, N.B., on June 3, 1966, she was a daughter of the late Mae Elizabeth Oram and Bernard H. Porter.

Susan was a popular hairdresser for many years, she later went on to own and operate Kabooms bar and restaurant, and most recently was a very valued manager at Troy’s Roofing. Susan enjoyed camping at Oak Point for many years and loved the Montreal Canadians. Susan also loved to help whoever she could.

Susan is survived by her partner, Troy Holland; brother, Bill Porter (Christine); sister, Margo Babineau; and several nieces, nephews, as well as several extended family members. She was also survived by her fur babies, Minnie, and Taylor.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Doug Eadle; sisters, Sharon Lomax and Jane Carson (Derek); brother in laws, Bradley Lomax and Leon Babineau; and her grandparents.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) where visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Brenan’s Funeral Home with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
