Obituary of Clifford Arthur Melbourne Boyer
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our father, Clifford Arthur Melbourne Boyer, on July 4, 2024, following a long illness.
Born May 14th, 1931 to Harry Clifford Boyer and Lulu Mildred (Mawhinney) Boyer, Cliff was a lifelong resident of Saint John. A Brakeman at Canadian National Railway, he had been retired for over 30 years.
A builder and flyer of model aircraft from an early age, Cliff was one of the pioneers of radio-controlled flight in the area. He served as a mentor to a lot of new model builders and was a test pilot for many of their creations.
Cliff was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Betty (Helen Elisabeth (Hills) Boyer) and is survived by his children David (Patti), Linda (Willy), Lee (Joanne), Douglas (Melana), Michael (Mary Ann) and Todd. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his little beauty, Missy.
The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701).
