Obituary of John Joseph Doiron

It is with great sadness, but in appreciation for a life well-lived, that we announce the passing of John Doiron on September 18, 2024. Born in Saint John on October 2, 1948, he was the son of the late August and Ida (Thomas) Doiron.

Besides his parents, John was predeceased by brothers Joseph and Gerard Vautour and sisters Louise Doiron and Jeanne Vautour.

John is survived by his sons Marco Doiron (Serena), Keith Doiron (Pommi) and daughter Shelly Lyon (Nathan)as well grandkids Jayden and Bryson Doiron and many nephews and nieces.

After retiring from JD Irving John had a big passion for Carpentry. He had a love for fishing, camping, playing guitar and travelling around the province visiting family and friends. More recently growing vegetables in his garden kept him entertained as his diminished eyesight kept him from driving.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). In keeping with John's wishes, there will not be any funeral. For those who desire, memorial donations in his memory can be made to Bobby’s Hospice where he spent 5 days in amazing care during his final moments.
