I remember Louise’s compassion toward the refugees who were staying at a local hotel years ago.. RiverCross Mission Volunteers were asked to supply a meal once a week. She was very concerned these refugees were provided with the type of food they were accustomed to. She was very kind to them. A lovely Christian lady. So very sorry for your great loss!
Kirk, my deepest condolences on the passing of your mom. She was a great lady, I remember her from working with my mom many moons ago and then enjoyed seeing her with you at the store. Thinking of you during this difficult time.
I offer my heartfelt condolences to Louise's family and friends on the passing of this amazing woman. While I was at the Nick Nicolle Centre, we became fast friends. Louise lead the preparation of our community meals and pretty much every special event at the centre. From community lunch, to senior teas, to muffins for after-school programs and everything in between. We laughed together at coffee and chat and shared so many neighborhood experiences from street dances to cleanup of the neighborhood, Christmas concerts and so very much more. All of the many folks who came to the centre knew and loved Louise and we all thought of her as family. I am so sorry for your loss and for the loss of the beautiful Louise to her beloved North End. Rest peacefully Louise. You were one of the best.
