Dear Wendy, Shirley, Faye, Vance and your families;
I am sorry to learn of the passing of your dear mother, Lorna.
I think back to those days gone by when we lived across the street from each other and there was a lot of backing and forthing at that time.
In particular, I remember at the end of Grade 9 when, at the last minute, I bought a dress to wear to the Grace 9 graduation at Lorne School. It was way too large and I took it to your mother in a panic, and she so expertly altered it for me at the last minute. I will always remember her kindness to me on that occasion.
My sincere sympathy to all of you at this sad time.
